Last week it snowed on blooming flowers in the East Campus courtyard. I had the chance to tromp around with a telephoto lens seeking robins and still life opportunities. The organic shapes of branches really gave me trouble with composition!
This weekend during CPW I shot in both film and digital. The Spinning Arts club has a fire spinning performance every year which attracts a lot of photographic attention. I set up a remote camera with a battery pack and remote trigger to try to capture the action with the back, making the audience part of the composition and using Stata as a backdrop. You can see me in the right on the bottom row of photographers.
